Michael Bertozzi Clinic
Four Winds is excited to welcome Michael Bertozzi for a clinic on October 19th and 20th, 2024 with private lessons being offered on the 21st! He caters to all level of riders and is sure to leave you enthused about successes to come in your ride. The clinic is hosted over two days with four sessions consisting of six riders, each an hour and a half long.
$400 for both days
$140 per private lesson
Audit: $30/day
Stalls: $50 per day (separate payment made to facility upon arrival)
Michael Bertozzi is owner and Trainer at Cavallo Farm, a Hunter / Jumper barn that has been operating out of Northern Virginia for more than 25 years. Michael grew up in Colorado and New York and graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Equine Science.
When founding Cavallo his goal was to create a friendly, family-oriented environment where clients enjoy riding and showing successfully. Over the years, Michael has trained Junior and Amateur riders to multiple state and national titles in all three rings.
His training philosophy centers around supporting each rider and horse achieve their personal goals through exercises that strengthen fundamental horsemanship philosophies. Riding is a family affair for the Bertozzi’s, Michael met his wife Marie while he was head trainer at Coco Crater Equestrian Center in Hawaii, and both his daughters grew up riding an eventually became Division 1 equestrian athletes. When not in the ring, Michael enjoys fishing, cooking, and playing poker.
Following Saturday’s rides, we will have a potluck dinner with a Question and Answer session with our Clinician!
Four Riders per Session as follows:
8:30am - 10:00am 3'3+
10:30am - 12:00pm 3'
12:00-1p Lunch
1:00pm - 2:30pm 2'6-2'9
3:00pm - 4:30pm 2'3
